DECLARATION
OF SISTER-UNIVERSITY AFFILIATION
Kunsan
National University of the Republic of Korea and
Montana State University of the United States of
America hereby declare the establishment of a Sister-University
Agreement.
The
major goals of the relationship are to be encourage
academic and educational exchanges which include
students and faculty and exchange of research and
other publications which could lead to academic
advancement and the development of better and lasting
friendships between individuals and our nations.
We
firmly believe these exchanges will prompt better
understanding and contribute to mutual development
of academic quality.
In
faculty exchanges host institutions will be as helpful
as possible in providing office space, access to
libraries, and normal visiting faculty privileges.
Housing assistance will be provided at as low cost
as possible.
In
student exchanges students will normally pay their
fees at their home institutions and take the place
of their counterpart at the host institution, where
possible in campus or typical student housing, and
with access to jormal student board arrangements.
Students must meet the entrance requirements of
the host institution in language skills, and must
be financially able to meet the costs of their overseas
experience. Special acceptance standards for this
agreement are acceptable and encouraged.
